The Team

A family that rides
together, bleeds together

Stabby Rats Racing started the way most bad ideas in our family start: someone said “we should sign up,” and nobody had a good enough reason to say no.

We’re not a sponsored team. We’re not chasing podiums (okay, sometimes we are). We’re a family that loads too many bikes onto one rack, drives to the trailhead, and figures it out from there. Some of us are fast. Some of us are enthusiastic. Some of us are just there for the snacks and yelling, aka cheering. Everyone finishes covered in dirt.

Ask any of us why we ride and you'll get a different answer. It's fun. It's hard. It's scary. Some days it's genuinely terrible — and we keep showing up anyway, because the part we actually love is doing it together. That's where Stabby Rats came from: a family that wanted to keep making memories. The biking runs in our blood, and the legacy keeps growing.

What we’re about

  • Show up, even when your legs already said no.
  • Cheer loudest for whoever’s slowest that day.
  • Fix it at the trailhead with whatever’s in the car.
  • Snacks are a non-negotiable team infrastructure.
